Riftbound Tournaments
Privacy Policy
What data Riftbound Tournaments uses, why, who it is shared with and how to delete it.
Who we are
Riftbound Tournaments (riftboundtournaments.com) is a free community platform to organize and follow tournaments of the Riftbound trading card game: registrations, pairings, results, standings and communities. It is built and operated by Outliners Solutions. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Riot Games.
For any question about this policy or your data, email us at santiagocanovari@gmail.com.
Data we collect
- Account data: email, username and password. The password is stored encrypted by our authentication provider; we never see it.
- If you sign in with Google or Discord: we receive your email, your name or username and your profile picture URL. We do not access your contacts, files, Discord servers or messages.
- Tournament activity: registrations, check-ins, drops, match results, penalties, decklists you submit, trophies and badges.
- Communities and organizing: communities and series you belong to or create, tournaments you organize and staff roles.
- Preferences: language, notification settings and, if you enable push notifications, your browser's subscription identifier.
- Technical records: history of administrative actions (for example, result corrections) and a log of notifications sent.
How we use it
We do not sell your data, we do not show ads and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools.
- To create and maintain your account and sign you in.
- To run tournaments: register you, pair you, compute results and standings.
- To send you email, push or in-app notices about your tournaments (for example, that a round started). You can turn them off from your profile.
- To keep the platform secure and resolve disputes or mistakes in results.
What other people can see
Your username, profile picture, tournament history and results, trophies and standings are visible to other users in public and semi-private tournaments, and to community members in private ones. Decklists are only shown if the tournament organizer makes them public. Your email is never shown to other users.
Service providers
We rely on third-party services that process data on our behalf, only to operate the platform:
- Supabase: database and authentication.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Railway: API hosting.
- Resend: email delivery.
- Google and Discord: only if you choose to sign in with them.
- Discord (webhooks): if a tournament organizer sets it up, pairings and standings, including usernames, are posted to their Discord server.
Google user data
From Google sign-in we only use your email, name and profile picture, to create and identify your account. Riftbound Tournaments' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Cookies and local storage
We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language. We use your browser's local storage for interface preferences such as light or dark theme and timer alerts. We do not use advertising or third-party cookies.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings. If you created tournaments, communities or series, you need to transfer them to someone else first.
Deleting your account removes your profile, registrations, preferences, decklists and community memberships. Results of matches already played are kept without being linked to your account, so other people's tournaments are not altered. You can also remove your profile picture from settings or ask us to delete your data by email.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your data by emailing santiagocanovari@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days. If you live in Argentina, the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública is the supervisory authority for Personal Data Protection Law 25,326.
Children
Riftbound Tournaments is not directed at children under 13. If you are a minor, use the platform with permission from a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we update the date on this page. If the change is significant, we announce it inside the platform.
